Paws of War trains and places rescued animals with veterans and first responders suffering from the traumatic effects of war. They also reunite veterans with animals they’ve bonded with while serving in war torn countries. This is life saving for both veterans and the animals they love.
The ASPCA was the first humane society to be established in North America. Their mission is to “provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.”
